
Oat Biscuits Recipe
1/2 cup self raising flour
1 cup oats
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
pinch salt
1/4 cup raw sugar
60 grams butter
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1 tablespoon boiling water
1/2 teaspoon bi-carb soda
Pre – heat oven 180 degrees celsius
Mix – flour, oats, coconut, salt and sugar in a bowl
Combine – butter, golden syrup, and boiling water in a saucepan
Bring – to boil
Add – bi-carb and stir
Add – liquid to dry ingredients
Mix – well
Roll – dough into balls and place on prepared trays
Flatten – balls with fingers slightly
Bake – for 10-15 mins
(make sure they are golden but not burning their bottoms)
