So pretty is the chilli, red, purple, yellow, green! From blow your head off hot to a subtle hit, they all have their place. Fresh, dried, smoked, or pickled, it doesn’t matter how you use them, just wash your hands and under your nails after handling. Ouch, burnies, tears, cry, sad. The seeds are particularly hot so scrape them away into the compost if you can’t handle the heat. But remember your work surface will hold the heat so wipe that too.

Many chilli plants are cold tolerant and will grow for several seasons. They need a warm sunny spot, and don’t forget to water well in hot weather. You may need to stake your plants to protect them from wind.
Use your chillies, because the more you use, the more they produce. OMG nature’s rad!
Dried chillies rock too! Just hang them up in a warm spot and allow them to dry completely before popping them into a jar to use for making chilli powder, using in curries, salads… anything really
