Healthy, Delicious and Quick Snack

A healthy snack, something I’ve got sitting on my bench all day waiting for me to gobble up is my little jar of dried fruit and nuts. It keeps my blood sugar balanced and keeps me going though out the day. I find having a small jar of goodies helps me monitor how much I’ve eaten and allows me to snack on something to nourish my body too. Oh, and it’s delicious!

A handful of almonds, sultanas, 4 dried apricots, pepitas, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries. Pop all ingredients into your jar and put somewhere easy to access.

A little note when buying your dried fruit… Buy natural sultanas, ones that have no preservatives or oils. The second is to seek out natural apricots. Many have added sulphur dioxide to help preserve the fruit. Not good.
