It’s become a little secret mantra of mine to make sure I eat something home-grown everyday. Some herbs, vegetables, fruit, even edible flowers. By making this part of my everyday living I’m eating more healthy nutritious foods from the little morsels of my garden. So much positive energy and love has been poured into my garden, so I figure all of this can only be good for me, and if you can, why not! No matter where I’ve lived, whether small studio city apartments, warehouses, inner city or country living, I’ve always loved to have small pots of herbs to keep me connected to nature and my inner health.
While I was growing up my mum always had a vegetable garden, and she helped instill in me a true sense of growing food for the love of myself, nature and family. So go on, try it out, spread the mantra and start to use something out of your little vegie patch everyday! You’ll love it!
